Mit seinen 1,90m ist der 27 jährige US Amerikaner eine echte Größe auf dem Feld und somit eine weitere gefährliche Anspielstation in der Offense der Hauptstädter. Seine letzten beiden Seasons verbrachte Jordan bereits in Deutschland bei den Allgäu Comets in der GFL Süd.
2018 glänzte er mit 123 Catches für 1324 und 14 Touchdowns in 15 Spielen. 2019 lief es leider nicht so gut für ihn, denn verletzungsbedingt konnte Paul nur 8 Spiele absolvieren.
Wir haben Jordan nach seiner bisherigen Laufbahn gefragt: “I am from Brooklyn, NY. My love for football started at New Utrecht High School (Brooklyn, N.Y.) where I developed my skills as a dual threat Quarterback and a Wide Receiver under Coach Wendell Fevrine.A few of the many universities I received interest from coming out of high school were Hampton, Central Michigan, Albany, UMass, Delaware, Fordham, Norfolk State and Marist. I ultimately chose Gardner-Webb University where I played two successful seasons as a Quarterback/ Wide Receiver before transferring to the University of Charleston in 2014. Upon my university graduation, I started my GFL1 career playing for the Allgau Comets in 2018 and 2019 seasons (South Division). We did not win a championship during the two seasons.”
Nach seiner letzten für ihn nicht zufriedenstellenden Saison in der GFL und einem ganzen Jahr Zwangspause, freut er sich darauf jetzt mit voller Kraft wieder angreifen zu können und das auch noch in der GFL Nord und in der Hauptstadt Berlin. “I chose the Berlin Rebels for the 2021 season because of the good program reputation of being very competitive, team oriented and possessing the same drive I have toward winning a German Bowl.
I have never been to Berlin but I am very excited to play in a city atmosphere that I am sure will remind me of my home in New York City. The coaches and organization staff have been great in the preseason process and during this whole pandemic year! And I can’t wait to get to work."
